Begins with Richard Bladon (1750-1823) in Shirenewton, Monmouthshire who married Sarah Hodson 25 Jan 1774 in Swinnerton,
Staffs. Contains 1224 people.
It is speculated that the above Richard Bladon could be Richard Bladen born 1751 in Lilleshall, Shropshire (10 miles
from Swinnerton) as no Bladons in Monmouthshire prior to this tree. Work in progress.

Begins about 1800 with a William Bladen married to Ann Jones and Thomas Bladen married to Mary. Possibly
brothers. Contains 107 people.
An interesting detail on this tree is that both families are on the census returns as being Innkeepers at Llanvihangel;
Thomas (born 1801) shows up on the census from 1841 onwards as Innkeeper of the Riscony Inn at Llanvihangel and William -
also born around the same time, his son Thomas (born 1834) is Innkeeper at The Carpenters Arms also in Llanvihangel.

Although I'm dating this line from 1710, when the first family appear in
Antigua, there is no definite link to the next generation. Present-day descendants can trace their line back to George
Bladen of Picadilly (circa 1765-1832) who married Christian Barton in 1787 at St Paul's Antigua. Contains 58 people.
Research: Sourced from Vere's History of Antigua. The researcher and contact point for this
tree is: David Bladen (born Barbados, now living in US).
West Indies, Antigua: (from 1730s): St George's, St Paul's, St John's, St
Philips
Barbados: (from 1930s) St Michael's
Monserrat (date unknown)
USA: (from 1951) Lynbrook, NY, Florida, New Jersey
